Connect Square POS and your website becomes a live mirror of your gallery floor. Work sells at the opening? It's marked sold online before the buyer finishes signing. No spreadsheet, no manual update, ever.
How the Square POS sync works →Primatura was created inside a cooperative art gallery. Wall space tracking per artist, per-artist work limits, shared exhibitions, and individual artist profiles are built into the foundation, not bolted on after the fact.
See how co-ops use Primatura →Upload an image and Primatura's AI analyzes the work, generating tags, searchable metadata, and suggested descriptions automatically. Catalog entry that used to take minutes takes seconds. Your collection stays rich and discoverable without the manual grind.
Collectors buy art they can picture living with. Every work detail page includes a "View in a Room" feature that places the piece in a realistic interior scene, scaled to its actual dimensions. It's one of the most powerful conversion tools in fine art e-commerce, and it's built in by default.
Invite your staff, partners, or artists to the dashboard with clearly defined roles. Owners control everything. Editors manage content and fulfill orders. Viewers can browse the dashboard and print artwork tags, without touching anything they shouldn't. Built for cooperative galleries and multi-person teams from the ground up.
Connect your gallery's Facebook Page and Instagram Business account once. Primatura picks a fresh work each week, drafts a polished caption with AI, and posts directly to both, or holds it as a draft for you to approve first. A Sensitive Content flag keeps mature works out of the feed. No copying, no resizing, no scheduling tools to learn.
Build and arrange your gallery's pages exactly the way you want them: no code, no templates you can't escape. Add sections, reorder content, and drop in text blocks, images, and work grids with a drag-and-drop editor that gives you full creative control over how your gallery presents itself online.
Primatura studies what your visitors respond to and surfaces the right works at the right moment, turning browsers into buyers. Every work detail page shows personalized recommendations, scored and ranked in real time. No other gallery platform at this price point puts AI to work on your behalf like this.
Print professional artwork tags straight from your dashboard: clean text labels for wall mounting or QR-coded cards in business card and 5×7 formats that link directly to the work's page. Avery-compatible, print-ready PDFs in one click.
How smart QR wall labels work →Send branded PDF invoices automatically when a sale is recorded, or create proforma invoices to hold works for a collector while payment is arranged. Works are reserved until you mark the invoice paid, then flip to sold. Payment confirmation goes to the buyer automatically.
A clear view of your gallery's numbers: available inventory value, sell-through rate, revenue by month and year, sales by channel, and a breakdown by artist. Everything you need to understand how your gallery is performing, without a spreadsheet in sight.
Built-in consignment tracking →Each artist gets their own profile: bio, statement, headshot, social links, and a curated view of their work. Stuck on the words? Primatura's AI can draft a polished artist bio from a short prompt. Visitors can browse by artist, and each profile links back to your gallery's full collection.
A filterable works grid with full-resolution images, dimensions, pricing, and availability. Group works into curated collections. Announce upcoming shows, promote current exhibitions, and keep an archive of past events.
Sell originals directly from your site with Stripe. Secure checkout, automatic tax calculation via Stripe Tax, automatic sold status, and full order history. Primatura takes just 1% per sale. No monthly revenue caps, no hidden fees.
Offer giclée and fine-art prints of any work; Prodigi prints and ships directly to the buyer. Set your own price per size; you keep the margin over Prodigi's wholesale cost. Primatura's 1% applies the same as on originals. No inventory, no packing, no shipping logistics.
Keep collectors and visitors engaged with a fully integrated blog. No third-party platform, no copy-pasting into WordPress. Write about new arrivals, behind-the-scenes studio visits, exhibition openings, or anything else that builds your gallery's voice. Posts live on your site and help with search visibility.
Stay in front of your collectors without the hours of work. Primatura's AI drafts your newsletter, pulling in recently added works, upcoming exhibitions, and curated selections. Then you refine and send. Built-in subscriber management, delivery tracking, and a beautiful email template that matches your gallery's brand.
Primatura automatically extracts the dominant color palette from each artwork and can display it as a tasteful swatch strip on the work's detail page. Collectors shopping by color, whether for a particular room or a specific aesthetic, can find what they're looking for without knowing how to describe it.

Yes. Primatura supports team members with three role levels. Owners have full access including billing, settings, and financial reports. Editors can manage the catalog, content, and fulfill orders, but can't touch owner-only settings. Viewers can browse the dashboard and generate artwork tags for wall labeling, without the ability to make changes. It's designed for the realities of cooperative galleries and multi-person teams.
Yes, and not as an afterthought. Primatura was built by a partner in a cooperative art gallery. Wall space tracking per artist, per-artist inventory limits, shared exhibitions, and individual artist profiles are core features. If you run a co-op, this platform was designed with your exact situation in mind.
When a work sells at the gallery through your Square terminal, Primatura automatically marks it as sold on your website, including updating availability, removing it from the "available works" view, and logging the sale in your order history. No manual updating, no lag. Your website reflects your gallery floor in real time.
Several. AI artwork entry automatically generates tags, metadata, and descriptions from a photo, turning minutes of data entry into seconds. Need help with an artist bio? AI can draft one from a short prompt. The AI recommendation engine surfaces personalized "you might also like" works for every visitor in real time. AI-powered email marketing campaigns write themselves, and AI business insights analyze your entire platform and surface actionable observations about growth, retention, and performance. Every AI feature is included at no extra charge.
Connect your gallery's Facebook Page and Instagram Business account once from your dashboard settings, then pick the day and time you'd like Primatura to post. Each cycle Primatura selects a work that hasn't been posted before, drafts a caption with AI tuned to your gallery's voice, and publishes to both platforms, or saves it as a draft for you to review and approve first. Works flagged as "Sensitive Content" are automatically excluded. You can disconnect at any time, and you can post a specific work on demand from its detail page. The integration is included at no extra charge.
Primatura supports two invoice types. Post-sale invoices are generated automatically when a sale is recorded through Stripe or Square. The buyer receives a branded PDF by email immediately. Proforma invoices let you hold works for a collector before payment: select the works, send the invoice, and they're marked Reserved until you confirm payment has been received. At that point the works flip to Sold and the collector gets a confirmation. If a proforma invoice expires unpaid, the works are automatically returned to available inventory.
View in a Room places any artwork on your site into a photorealistic interior scene, scaled to the work's actual dimensions. When a collector clicks it on a work's detail page, they see the piece hanging in a living room setting, which makes sizing and fit immediately tangible. It requires no setup from you; Primatura handles it automatically for every work using its listed dimensions.
Full control, without needing a developer. Primatura's custom page editor lets you build and rearrange pages using a drag-and-drop interface. Add text sections, image blocks, work grids, artist spotlights, and more. You're not locked into a single layout or theme. Your site looks the way you want it to look, and you can update it any time from the dashboard.
No. The dashboard is designed for gallery owners and artists, not developers. If you can fill out a form and upload an image, you can run your entire gallery website on Primatura.
If you've added a payment method, you'll be charged automatically at the end of your 60-day trial. If you haven't added one yet, you'll receive a reminder before your trial ends, and your site will be paused rather than deleted, so you can reactivate any time. You can cancel before the trial ends and you won't be charged at all.
Almost nothing. Primatura takes a 1% transaction fee on every sale made through your gallery site: originals and print-on-demand prints alike. Stripe's standard processing fees also apply (typically 2.9% + 30¢). That's it: no hidden fees, no monthly revenue caps.
Yes. Every gallery gets a free address at yourgallery.primatura.com from day one. You can also connect your own custom domain. Just purchase it from any registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Squarespace, etc.) and point it to Primatura. Setup takes about five minutes, no technical expertise required.
Yes, at any time. Your gallery site stays live until the end of your current billing period. We don't lock you in or make cancellation difficult.
